Pico laser shatters ink without heating the surrounding skin. Four to six sessions is typical, spaced six to eight weeks apart. Ink color, depth, and age all affect how completely it clears — your provider will tell you what to expect before you start.

High-speed diode laser for lasting hair reduction on larger areas. Results depend on hair color and skin tone, so every course begins with a patch test. Avoid sun and self-tanner for two weeks beforehand.

We built Botanica out of a frustration we both had as patients: aesthetic medicine that felt like retail. Rushed rooms. A price list handed over before anyone looked at your face. A result that announced itself from across the room.
So we built the opposite. Tea before treatment. Clinicians who are allowed to say no. Rooms you'd actually want to spend an hour in.

Then a hot towel, a cashmere throw if the room is cool, and your provider sitting down opposite you rather than standing over you. The consultation runs as long as it needs to. Nobody is waiting in the doorway.

Questions
Before you book.
Who will be treating me?
A licensed nurse practitioner, registered nurse, naturopathic physician, or licensed esthetician, depending on the treatment. All medical services are delivered under physician medical direction. You'll be told who your provider is when you book.
Do I need a consultation first?
Yes for all device treatments, full-face planning, and any medical or longevity program. Facials, HydraFacials, and skin analysis can be booked directly. If you're unsure, book the consultation — it's the appointment that tells you whether the rest is appropriate.
Why aren't there before-and-after photos here?
We publish patient images only with written, signed consent for that specific use. Results also vary enough that photographs are far more useful in person, beside your own skin. Your provider will show relevant examples during your consultation.
How is my health information handled?
Protected under HIPAA and, in Washington, the My Health My Data Act. We do not sell consumer health data, and this website runs no advertising trackers.
What if a treatment isn't right for me?
We'll tell you. Declining to treat is a normal outcome of a consultation, and you're never charged for treatment you don't receive.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask for 48 hours' notice. Full terms, including deposits on longer appointments, are provided at booking.
